Student Music Showcase

During the Career Exposure Day AI Workshop, students explored how emerging technologies are transforming creativity by using the AI music platform Suno to write and produce their own original songs. From brainstorming lyrics to generating full tracks with AI, students experimented with how artificial intelligence can support artistic expression and storytelling. How to Maximize Career Exposure Day

Build Skills. Make Moves.

This day is a chance for you to learn new things about different jobs and start thinking about your future. We want you to leave feeling proud, excited, and full of ideas for what comes next. Here are some easy steps to help you get the most out of your day.

Before the Event: Prepare for Success

Plan your outfit

Try to wear something a little nicer than what you usually wear, but make sure your shoes are comfortable for walking. Avoid hoodies or athleisure wear if possible.

Pack your essentials

Bring a notebook and pen for capturing valuable insights. If you have a resume or card, feel free to bring it. Having something to share helps you feel prepared and shows that you’re taking the event seriously.

During the Event: Make Meaningful Connections

Talk to new people

Smile, look people in the eye, and say hello. When you meet someone, tell them your name and what grade you are in. Just be yourself!

Ask good questions

Try to ask questions that help you really learn what the job is like. You might ask, “What do you do on a normal day?” or “What do you like most about your job?” You can also ask, “What do you wish you knew when you were my age?” These questions help you get useful advice and understand what working in that field is really like.

Take practical notes

While you listen, look for advice you can use in your own life. Don’t just listen for fun. This way, you can remember what you learned and use it when you start making choices about your future.

After the Event: Keep the Momentum Going

Connect on LinkedIn

If you meet someone who you want to keep in touch with, ask if you can connect with them on LinkedIn. These connections can help you later when you look for a job or need advice.

Now you’ve got everything you need to make Career Exposure Day a great experience.
