A smooth transition starts with clear expectations. Below, you’ll find a timeline of key onboarding milestones to help you navigate the process with ease. Our goal is to ensure you have everything you need to get started confidently at Arlo.

- Pre-start onboarding tasks – Complete HR paperwork, system and direct deposit setup
- CAC Appointment & Personnel Security Process Initiation – Ensure all required security forms are submitted, and schedule appointments if needed
- Review onboarding page – Get familiar with Arlo’s onboarding expectations
- Confirm start date & access requirements

First Day
- Welcome & orientation – Meet leadership, onboarding team, and key stakeholders
- System access setup – Email, HR portal, timekeeping system, and internal tools
- Benefits overview & enrollment support – Walkthrough of Arlo’s health benefits, retirement options, and deadlines
- Security briefing (if required Day 1) – Personnel security & CAC issuance updates

First Week
- Attend Program Indoctrination (Indoc) – Complete SASP program-specific briefings and compliance requirements
- Finalize CAC issuance & access setup – Ensure completion of any outstanding security steps
- Deep dive into role expectations – Engage with managers, meet team members, and review contract deliverables

First 30 Days
- Check-in with security & onboarding team – Confirm full clearance compliance and CAC functionality
- Ongoing training & role-specific onboarding – Participate in additional program briefings and team meetings
- Complete benefits enrollment – Finalize benefits insurance and other elections before the deadline
- First manager check-in – Discuss early performance expectations and address any challenges
- Formal pulse check-in

- Fully integrated into role & contract mission – Operating independently within the program
- Formal security compliance review (if needed) – Ensure ongoing compliance with personnel security requirements
- Complete 401k enrollment

- Coordinating program onboarding forms required for contract compliance
- Helping with onboarding logistics (meeting schedules, transition timelines)
- General inquiries if you're unsure where to go for assistance
Kathy Phan, HR Generalist
🎯Role: Manages employee benefits and navigating through HR information system and policies.

- Benefits enrollment & eligibility (health, dental, vision, 401k, and insurance options)
- Payroll setup (direct deposit, tax forms, paycheck issues)
- HR Policies and Compliance (PTO, leave of absence, handbook guidance)
- Completion of HR-related forms (I-9, W-4, direct deposit setup)
Kelly King, Senior Payroll Specialist
🎯Role: Oversees timekeeping and payroll processing.

- Timesheet submissions (Costpoint guidance, charge codes, reporting hours correctly)
- Payroll inquiries (Pay schedule, overtime, timecard deadlines)
- Compliance with semi-monthly payroll policies (1st–15th and 16th–end of month reporting)
Kevin Koss, Senior Systems Administrator
🎯Role: Provides technical support for system access and troubleshooting.

- Email and Microsoft credentials (Activating Arlo email, Microsoft 365, multi-factor authentication)
- System logins & troubleshooting (Monday, Costpoint, Concur, SharePoint)
- Equipment issues (if applicable, for Arlo-issued devices or system access problems)

🎯Role: Ensures personnel security and contract compliance requirements.
